Local Links (SaaS Project)
Built to replace paper golf league scorecards and manual handicap spreadsheets with a full mobile-friendly league and social platform.
Players snap a photo of a paper scorecard to log rounds automatically, join live leagues, and track handicaps in real time.
/ — Golf League & Matchmaking Platform
- Typing 18 holes of scores by hand after a round is tedious
- League organizers spend hours calculating handicaps and updating standings in spreadsheets
- Players lacked a single place to find open tee-time groups, chat, and swap gear
- Players snap a photo of a paper scorecard to read and fill in hole scores automatically
- Live league scoreboards, handicap calculations, and rankings update after every round
- Includes matchmaking lobbies, Clubhouse chat, a Club Swap marketplace, and member subscriptions
How It Works Step-by-Step
Here is what happens when a customer, resident, or staff member uses Local Links (SaaS Project):
Snap a Scorecard Photo
Player takes a picture of their paper scorecard at the end of the round.
Confirm Extracted Scores
Camera reader pulls the hole-by-hole scores automatically for quick review.
Standings & Handicaps Update
League leaderboards, handicaps, and player rankings update in real time.
Other Live Projects
The village clerk posts meeting minutes or announcements once, and every subscribed resident and board member gets an email or phone alert automatically.
Clients sign their engagement agreement and pay their retainer in one guided step, while the right staff members get notified right away.
